SRI = (Solar Reflectance Index) assesses a surface’s capacity to reflect solar energy and stay cool. It merges solar reflectance and thermal emittance, producing a rating from 0 to 100. Higher SRI values signify surfaces that absorb less heat, aiding in mitigating urban heat islands, cutting cooling energy usage, and promoting environmental sustainability in construction.
