KLIP-LOK CLASSIC® 700

Concealed fixed roofing

Description

KLIP-LOK CLASSIC® 700 features improved rib strength for excellent spanning capacity. Visually, a strong rib makes a bold statement rising from flat pans with longitudinal fluting. Installed using a concealed fixed clip system permiting thermal expansion of long, straight runs, and because there are no piercings through the cladding; the long, straight lines of KLIP-LOK CLASSIC 700® remain crisp and clean. And no piercings also means superb weatherproof performance.

  • Wide cover concealed-fixed cladding with no exposed fasteners for weathertight roofs
  • Excellent water carrying capacity
  • Strong rib makes bold visual statement
  • Easy-to-install fixing clip means roof can be laid faster and more economically
  • Installed using the KLIP-LOK CLASSIC® 700 fixing clip system which is the fast and effective solution for weather resistant end and expansion joints.

Make allowance for thermal expansion or contraction for long length roofs at sheeting ends.
The equation ΔL = α x ΔT x L gives an indication of the sheeting extent or contraction (ΔL).
α = 12 x 10-6 (coefficient of linear expansion for steel).
ΔT = temperature change in °C.
L = sheet length in mm
Mt=1.0 with the following assumptions made:

Roofs:
Cpi=+0.20, (Region A : Cpe=-0.65) (Region B : Cpe=-0.90),
Walls:
Cpi=0.20, Cpe=-0.65
