RidgeFlo

Ridge Flo is a coordinated ventilation system designed for all roof pitches and gutter designs, ensuring optimal airflow and compliance with Australian building standards. Proudly manufactured in Australia from 5005 H34 0.6mm aluminium sheet, RidgeFlo provides durable and efficient roof ventilation for all metal roofs.

RidgeFlo products meet the NCC 2022 Section 10.8.3 requirements for ventilating roof spaces in climate zones 6, 7, and 8. Designed to optimize airflow, they provide compliance for both high-level and low-level ventilation, ensuring effective air circulation for metal roofs.

Each RidgeFlo product is engineered to meet the specified free open area (mm²/m) requirements based on roof pitch and ventilation needs. Additionally, all models comply with AS4200.2:2017, Section 3.3.1 (f), allowing membrane termination at the ventilation point when a specifically designed ridge vent is installed.

Each RidgeFlo solution ensures compliance while enhancing roof ventilation efficiency.

Meets NCC Compliance Requirements

This product meets the requirements of NCC 2022 section 10.8.3, Ventilation of roof spaces, at high level for climate zones 6, 7 and 8, where a metal roof must have a roof space that is ventilated to outdoor air through evenly distributed openings in accordance with Table 10.8.3 and for roof pitches of 0° – 75° requiring an opening of 5000 mm²/m. High level openings are openings provided at the ridge or not more than 900 mm below the ridge or highest point of the roof space, measured vertical.

This product design achieves a free open area of 10047 mm2/ per l/m when positioned below the ridge capping at the truss apex. The design meets the requirements of AS4200.2:2017, section 3.3.1 (f) where a specifically designed ridge ventilation is installed, the membrane may be terminated at the ventilation.

Description

RidgeFlo C05000

Description

Designed for roof pitches of 10° – 75° requiring a high level free open area of 5000 mm²/m.

High level openings are openings provided at the ridge or not more than 900 mm below the ridge or highest point of the roof space, measured vertical. Ventilation openings are specified as a minimum free open area per metre length of the longest horizontal dimension of the roof.

This product design achieves a free open area of 5024 mm2/ per l/m.

The design meets the requirements of AS4200.2:2017, section 3.3.1 (f) where a specifically designed ridge ventilation is installed, the membrane may be terminated at the ventilation.

RidgeFlo TK25000

Description
